Shipping

Urban La Mode operates Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Orders that are in stock are shipped within 24 to 48 hours of the time they are placed. Some orders may require additional verification in order to begin processing and may result in delayed shipping. Our time in transit is based on the day the order ships not the day the order was placed. You will receive a shipping notification email that will notify you of the carrier selected to ship your order, and the tracking options available for your order.

Overnight Shipping

Please note all order are shipped within 24 to 48 hours. The overnight shipping service is based on the product leaving the warehouse not from the time the order was placed. Please note Saturday delivery is not available at this time.

Hawaii, Alaska, PO Boxes, APO/FPO & U.S. Territories

We accept orders shipped to PO boxes and APO/FPO or U.S. territories. Orders shipped to these addresses must be sent via USPS Priority Mail service.

International Rates & Delivery

For customers using an international credit card: Urban La Mode may require a fax or email with a copy of your passport and the front and back of your credit card (we suggest blacking out all numbers except for the last 4 digits on the credit card) to customerservice@urbanlamode.com or fax to 1-908-450-7344; be sure to include your order number on all documents. Once we receive these items we will release your order for processing. Once you are a verified customer you will not need to send the information again unless you change your method of payment.

Your order may be delivered to you by either the local post office or a local courier. Depending on your area, most orders will be delivered by your local post service, so the package will be received with your regular mail. If you are not home when the delivery is made, a notice card may be left by the postal service to advise on how and where your delivery can be collected.

Taxes and Duties

All applicable customs and import duties and fees, taxes and any other charges and fees are the responsibility of the customer (even if you refuse any shipments upon delivery).We ship your package DDU, "duties and taxes unpaid", and we do not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If your order does require these additional charges, they must be paid by you in order for your package to clear customs. Some countries may require additional fees paid Collect on Delivery (COD). These fees are paid to the local carrier and are not collected by Urban La Mode.

Customs authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package(s). Customs agents have the right to release or deny release of your package(s), and in rare cases, they may also delay delivery.

Currency Conversions

All prices listed on our site are in US dollars, and charged to your credit card in US dollars. The bank that has issued your credit card determines the exact exchange rate that you will be charged, but in general it should match closely with the current rate. To get an estimate of the current rate, please refer to your local bank or you can check online at http://www.xe.com. (Please note that we do not make any guarantees or promises about what the current exchange rate is or what you will be charged by your bank, as this is out of our control.)

Returns and Exchange Policy

Items purchased from Urban La Mode are eligible for exchange or return for store credit or refund to the original form of payment within 14 days of the date the merchandise was received. Merchandise returned after 14 days of receipt will incur a 15% restocking fee which will be deducted from your total at the time of your return. Items returned after 14 days of receipt will be returned for a store credit or exchange only. Please note returns/exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days.

Return Policy

  • Merchandise must be unworn and unwashed.
  • Merchandise must have all tags.
  • Any merchandise marked “Final Sale” cannot be returned.
  • Items purchased using a promotional code will only be eligible for a return for store credit, purchases made using a promotion code are non-refundable.
  • Hair accessories, hats, opened makeup, earrings, books, CD’s/DVD’s, Downloadable Music cannot be returned.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. This will delay the return process.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Return/Exchange Process

To initiate a return/exchange please perform the following steps:

    1. Contact our customer service department at 1-844-806-7300 or customerservice@urbanlamode.com to receive a Return Authorization Code (RA#).
    2. Send the unworn, unwashed item(s) in their original packaging with a copy of your receipt, reason for return and RA# written on the receipt.
    3. US Returns: Please send all returns and exchanges to the following address:

International Returns: Our customer service team will provide a return address based on your country locations.

Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customerservice@urbanlamode.com.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@urbanlamode.com and send your item to:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
